Please help our neighbors in need.
Christian Assistance Program and CAP Sundays
- Severn UMC collects non-perishable food at the Sunday Worship Service for blessing and distribution on the first Sunday of the month, or "CAP Sunday."
- The Christian Assistance Program is a private non-profit food bank sponsored Severn-Odenton area churches, providing food and clothing to the less fortunate residents of Odenton, Severn & Gambrills communities. All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductable.
- For those "hard to buy for" people, or in memory of someone special, consider making a donation to CAP in their name while helping people in need. CAP will send an appropriate notification to the person or family.
- For more information, or to find out how you can volunteer, please see the contact information on the CAP page or contact the church office.
- Donations can be mailed to: Christian Assistance Program, 1239 Murray Road, Odenton, MD 21113
